Privacy Policy

ElderlAI is a large-text AI companion made for older adults, published by Mythium. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the app.

The short version

• No account is required. You can use ElderlAI without signing up or giving your name.
• We do not sell your data, show you ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
• You can delete everything at any time from inside the app, and we forget it.
• To answer you, your words are processed by the trusted AI providers described below. You agree to this on the welcome screen before you send anything.

What we process, and who helps us

ElderlAI does not run the AI itself. To give helpful replies and a natural reading voice, your words are sent to two companies that act as our processors:

• Anthropic. When you send a message (and any photo you choose to show), your words and that image are sent to Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI, so it can write a reply or read the photo for you. See Anthropic’s privacy policy.
• ElevenLabs. When you ask ElderlAI to read an answer aloud, the text of that answer is sent to ElevenLabs to create a warm, natural voice. See ElevenLabs’ privacy policy.

Your voice stays on your phone. If you talk to ElderlAI instead of typing, your speech is turned into text directly on your device. The audio of your voice is never sent to us or anyone else.

Photos. A photo you choose is sent to Anthropic only to be read and explained in that moment. We do not keep the image.

What we store

To remember you between conversations and to keep your reminders, we store the following on our secure backend (hosted on Supabase), keyed to a random, anonymous identifier created on your device:

• A short profile of helpful facts you have shared (for example a family member’s name, a pet, a preference). This can include health-related notes if you choose to share them.
• Brief summaries of past conversations, so ElderlAI can remember what matters to you. We store summaries, not full transcripts.
• Reminders you set, and your subscription status.

This identifier is not your name and is not tied to your real-world identity unless you choose the optional backup that uses Sign in with Apple.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information.
• We do not use it for advertising, and we include no advertising or analytics tracking software.
• We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or track you across other apps and websites.

Subscriptions

ElderlAI is free for a few chats each day, and questions about your safety are always free. Optional subscriptions remove the daily limit. Purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple Account; we receive only whether your subscription is active, not your payment details.

Deleting your information

Open ElderlAI, go to Settings, and tap Delete everything. This permanently removes your profile, conversation summaries, reminders, saved messages, and subscription records from our backend and resets your device so ElderlAI forgets all about you. You can also email us to request deletion.

Children

ElderlAI is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

ElderlAI is a friendly companion, not a doctor. It does not give medical diagnoses or advice. For anything about your health, please check with your doctor. If something is an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
